Our Background

On May 28th, 2003, "RSOL PC SYSTEMS" was created in the form of a single HTML page on the RealSavingsOnline.com web site, where it offered a high performance custom-built desktop computer for sale. The "RealSavingsOnline" web  site was a non-profit consumer-based web site that announced daily coupons & specials for popular electronics retailers, and is from where the acronym "RSOL" was taken.

 

In June 2004 the company moved to it's own dedicated web domain www.rsolpc.com where it offered high-powered custom-built desktop computers and on-site repair services.

 

April 2007 saw the rebirth of RSOL PC. The web site was redesigned to coincide with the opening of their first customer-accessible computer repair service & retail facility in North Lauderdale, Florida. The opening of the small but practical facility lead to significant growth; their client base more than quadrupled by the end of 2007, due in part to being located in an unsuspecting "back office" of a local independent retail store.

 

By August 2008 RSOL PC had outgrown it's North Lauderdale location, so a move to a new dedicated facility in Lauderhill, Florida was completed. RSOL PC is located on University Drive, approximately 1 mile south of Commercial Blvd in the Promenade of Inverrary Plaza and their neighbors include Tate's Comics and Joe's Crab Shack.

 

In late 2009 RSOL PC expanded their service operations to include the repair of the popular Sony PlayStation 3 game console, resulting from increased interest from local clients. In March 2010, RSOL PC went "national" and secured the rights to several PlayStation 3 web domain names including PS3RepairShop.com.  By April 2010, RSOL PC had the capacity to repair approximately 650 Sony PlayStation 3 consoles per month within their guaranteed turnaround time of 12 to 48 hours. Hundreds of clients from around the nation have already taken advantage of RSOL PC's PS3 mail-in repair service because they are the only company that offers guaranteed low turnaround times, the longest warranties - up to 3 years, and their traditional low flat-rate pricing model.

 

To coincide with the company's departure from local computer repair services to focus exclusively on national PlayStation 3 repair services, in November 2010, RSOL PC Services transitioned its legal structure in the state of Florida and is now known as R.S.O.L. PC Services, L.L.C. d/b/a PS3RepairShop.com.

The primary goal is to reduce repair turnaround times from 48 hours to "same day" so volume output is doubled. By Q1 2011, it is anticipated that RSOL PC's primary revenue stream will be derived from this source, and serve as their core business activity.
