Our Background

On May 28th, 2003, "RSOL PC SYSTEMS" was created in the form of a single HTML page on the RealSavingsOnline.com web site, where it offered a high performance custom-built desktop computer for sale. The "RealSavingsOnline" web  site was a non-profit consumer-based web site that announced daily coupons & specials for popular electronics retailers, and is from where the acronym "RSOL" was taken.

 

Popular tech news back in May 2003 included: the launch of Apple's iTunes online store; AMD released their Athlon XP 3200+ CPU and announced that the Athlon 64 would be out by the end of the year; Hitachi announced the release of the very first 7200rpm 2.5" notebook hard drive, the Travelstar 7K60; Best Buy decided to suspend their plans of launching their own brand of laptop computer; Mozilla released version 0.60 of the "Firebird" web browser (which would later become known as "Firefox"); Windows Vista was still only known as "Longhorn" and had an expected release date some time in 2005 (which in reality did not hit the shelves until Q1 2007); Microsoft were getting ready to launch Service Pack 2 for Windows XP; Toshiba made an announcement that they had developed a 36GB optical disc that would utilize blue laser technology and could possibly become the successor to the popular DVD format. Unfortunately for Toshiba, their new optical disc would eventually become the obsolete "HD-DVD" format, losing out to Sony's BluRay format in early 2008. 

 

RSOL PC SYSTEMS' first desktop computer model was the popular fully-transparent chassis Crystal Series Desktop which offered comparable hardware to the high-end models from Gateway & Dell but at a price tag of $1200 less than its competitors. The Crystal Series Desktop was literally "home-built" and sold exclusively through the www.realsavingsonline.com web site until RSOL PC SYSTEMS was renamed RSOL PC SERVICES to reflect the company's growth into the break/fix industry. In June 2004 the company moved to it's own dedicated web domain www.rsolpc.com.

 

April 2007 saw the rebirth of RSOL PC. The web site was redesigned to coincide with the opening of their first customer-accessible service & retail facility in North Lauderdale, Florida. The opening of the small but practical facility lead to significant growth; their client base more than quadrupled by the end of 2007, due in part to being located in an unsuspecting "back office" of a local independent retail store.

 

By August 2008 RSOL PC had outgrown it's North Lauderdale location, so a move to a new dedicated facility in Lauderhill, Florida was completed. The new facility is a short distance from the old North Lauderdale location so existing customers were not impacted by the move. RSOL PC is located on University Drive, approximately 1 mile south of Commercial Blvd in the Promenade of Inverrary Plaza and their neighbors include Jennifer Convertibles, Tates Comics and Joe's Crab Shack.

Through this alliance, RSOL PC  is an authorized Microsoft OEM System Builder, and is approved & authorized to assist small, medium or large businesses in obtaining lines of credit of up to $700,000 through the Microsoft Financing program to fund their IT solutions.

 

In addition to their relationship with Microsoft, RSOL PC is partnered with manufacturers such as AMD, Intel, nVidia, Symantec, Asus, Lenovo, Acer and Gateway as well as multiple distributors. Our Support Services

 

RSOL PC is a registered & certified Service Provider for the OnForce and ComputerAssistant.com service networks. These service networks route work orders on behalf of the three major OEM PC manufacturers in the USA (Dell, Hewlett Packard, and Acer-Panamerica) to local independent computer repair companies and on-site technicians to perform labor tasks such as parts replacement & troubleshooting. RSOL PC has also provided on-site labor services on behalf of CompUSA.

 

RSOL PC also provides unbeatable Service Contract options to small businesses in South Florida with service plans starting at just $79 per month - the lowest advertised rate in South Florida. Outsourcing IT tasks to RSOL PC is more efficient and cost effective than having an in-house full-time IT department, especially when the small business has less than 100 computers. Since RSOL PC is responsible for their small business clients' IT issues, the clients are able to focus more of their time and resources in making their business successful.
